The Athens Gate Hotel is one of the city's shining jewels in the hotel industry. Tonight it has been taken over by several hundred dignitaries in preparation for the opening ceremonies of the 2004 Olympic Games on the morrow. And by 'taken over' the narration means it; both the ground floor reception room and the rooftop garden have been invaded by A-list guests, including movie stars, ambassadors and several deities.

The guest of honor is one Thallo Eirene, whose status wasn't something she was aware of until arriving at the hotel, and someone tried to whisk her away for a photoshoot with some of the other celebrities.

(It was a very reluctant photoshoot on her part.)

Now, she's ensconced in the garden with her date, mentally counting down the time they still have to suffer through before she can make a graceful exit and run away from all the media attention. The dress she's wearing isn't exactly helping with her attempts to be a wallflower.

"Your Holiness." Eirene glances up at the latest intruder, and smiles pleasantly. "Your Holiness. Thank you for coming, sir. I know that your followers are pleased to see you out and about."

That's right. She's talking to the Pope.

She is, in fact, successful. A few times, even after Clark gets used to the touch and starts pressing into her hands.

Not long after, one of his hands slides up her side and starts to trace lightly along the collar of the robe.

This is something she could definitely continue doing for the next hour, until Clark gets tired and wants to be curled up against while he's sleeping, so she'll just glide her tongue along the recently bitten lip.

And then she'll try not to shiver visibly when his fingers play peek-a-boo with her skin. And robe.

There's another deep breath at that. His fingers creep up to her should and start to gently pull the fabric down over her skin, his lips beginning to make a trail across her jaw in the same direction.

Swallowing audibly, Eirene tilts her head back an inch or two, allowing easier access to her throat and the shoulder he might possibly kiss in the near future.

Just ignore the jackhammering of her heartbeat, Clark. It's totally his fault, anyway.

Her heart is about all he's listening to, along with the sound of her breathing and any intriguing noises she might make. His mouth continues its way down her throat, stopping briefly to pay particular attention to the hollow, and then works along her now exposed collar bone.

[eirenikos]

He'll notice her breathing shallow out right around the moment his lips find her collar bone, along with a whimper sounding low in her throat - one of those 'good noises' he told Kendra about.

Of course, with the way her hips press against his, and the hands gripping a little higher up his chest, he should probably assume she really likes what he's doing.

Clark certainly notices that sound, and he makes the same assumption. Which is why he isn't stopping just yet, or moving on.

The hand still at her waist may be tugging at the belt of the robe right about now.

[eirenikos]

Which garners a second whimper, throatier this time, and the grip around his chest tightens even further.

"Clark..."

It's also a good bet that she hasn't noticed what he's doing to her robe yet, otherwise there would probably be a slight case of freaking going on.

He lifts his head ever so slightly.

"Should I stop?"

[eirenikos]

She considers threatening to turn all of his tee shirts bright pink if he does, but opts in the end for a, "No."

And sliding one hand around to splay against his lower back.

Okay. He'll just get back to what he was doing then. Which includes getting the knot halfway undone on her robe.

[eirenikos]

She's not going to stop him, or interfere in any way. Presumably Clark remembers she's not wearing anything under said robe. Besides, his mouth trailing towards a shoulder is distracting in and of itself, prompting her nails to trail along the indention of his spine and rake gently against warm flesh.

It's possible he does remember. It's also possible he's sort of forgotten in he moment, but the more he tugs the material down her shoulder, he catches on pretty quick.

Well. Quick enough to stop at about the right spot, though his mouth continues down to the very edge.

She's just about forgotten how to breath. And stand upright; her hands still, pressed against the flat of his back as if she's convinced she'll fall over if he moves away. Her scent is definitely noticable, which he knows is a sure sign she's turned on, and her heartbeat just outsped Bart.

Or near enough.

But if all that isn't enough, the full whimper and accompanying moan should signal he really is doing everything right so far.

The scent and those noises are really only leading Clark to one conclusion: The bed is a much better place to be. As such, Eirene may find herself exactly there, on her back, with a large now bare chested farmboy hovering over her.

[eirenikos]

And Eirene will thoroughly enjoy the view; running her hands up across his chest, paying very strict attention to a few spots that she remembers lead to interesting sounds. This is before she pulls him back down for a lingering, exploratory kiss. Or five.

"You make me warm and fuzzy." That is muttered, naturally, in between kisses.

"I know how you feel," he murmurs back, settling down on one hip right beside her. A hand traces the outline of her face, brushing her hair out of the way before leaning in and kissing her again.

[eirenikos]

Eirene is content to remain silent and let her lips be put to better use, nuzzling his own after said kiss. In turn, she reaches up and trails her fingertips along his jaw, lingering briefly to outline his bottom lip, and then down across his throat to press gently over his pulse.

There are some more interesting noises on Clark's part and his hand slips down to start working the robe off her other shoulder.

[eirenikos]

If Eirene's brain wasn't already hazy, and her mouth engaged in trying to get some air into her lungs, she might make a crack about feeling like a present being unwrapped. However, all she's capable of is emitting noises of her own and allowing her fingers to slide down the center of Clark's chest.

Possibly with a detour across two brush against both of his nipples.

Yet more interesting sounds emerge from his throat when she does so. Once he's marginally recovered, and peppered her cheeks and lips with quick, light kisses, he starts to draw one finger down the centre of her body, beginning at the base of her throat and stopping only when it hit the loose knot still left at the front of the robe.

Have you ever heard a goddess growl? Clark gets to, about the time his finger slides past her ribcage, eliciting some squirming because she just can't keep still anymore, and his touch is slowly driving her crazy. A thumb grazes across his chest again, direction haphazard due to the highly distracted state of her mind.

But she is trying to give as good as she's getting.

"Well," he sighs softly, resting his forehead against hers. "I think we're going to have to get rid of the robe. It's just too much in the way."

[eirenikos]

It takes a few seconds to process that, possibly due to Clark's close proximity. "Okay." She's not going to argue, or ask if he's sure, because her brain isn't working all that well, and he'll go only as far as he's ready to anyway. Eirene does sit up halfway a moment later, trying to avoid bumping heads, and reaches down to undo the knot the rest of the way.

His attention remains on her face for a moment when she settles back down, and then slowly, a hand reaches over to draw the robe further down her shoulders. When her arms are free fro the material, he leans in and presses a light kiss at the base of her throat.
