Martha Kent. You are one of the most amazing women I've met. After growing up in the city, you so successfully adapted yourself to life in the country that I wouldn't have known if you and Clark hadn't mentioned it. I also admire that drive to conquer each challenge that life throws at you.

I'm also terrified that you'll change your mind and not think I'm good enough for your son.

Sweetheart, I think you'll find that I am a very honest woman, and very assertive, especially where my son's happiness is concerned. If I didn't think you were good enough from him, you'd both know it, believe me.

You're not human, you never were, you're not an Olympian, so I don't view you along those lines. Yes, technically you are a monster, but you're also my family, and I tend to wear rose colored glasses around most relatives.

Clark Kent. I'm not even sure where to start with you, so first impressions: Shy, cute, well mannered, farmer, great bartender. Then generous, funny, tall, handsome, loyal, smart. You do the right thing even when it would be easier not to, so add integrity onto that list. I think you're too hard on yourself, and don't let yourself relax and have enough fun. You should let yourself lean on others a little bit when things are tough. There is that part about looking really good in plaid.

and I think you're the best boyfriend in the world, but I might be a little biased.
