The Door opens onto the terrain at the base of Olympus, as always, but this second visit is slightly different than the first. They won't be hiking up the sacred mountain, not unless Clark wants to see it again, and the landscape is ordinary. Aside from being gorgeous and Mediterranean, anyway.

"Come on, my house isn't too far from here."

Eirene's smile isn't quite as blissful now, and the totally euphoric feeling has -- actually not disappeared, just lessened slightly.

"I'm not running anywhere," he assures her, stroking his thumb just below her lower lip. "And this is your home. You should be yourself. I can handle it."

Her grin is a genuine one. "Thank you, Clark." He'll get a real kiss for it too.

He can more than handle this. And does.

[eirenikos]

Then she might just give him a little more to handle, without turning it into something else entirely.

She hopes.

Eirene is very good and not pushing Clark's limits. So there isn't anything here that makes him uncomfortable, or want to stop any time soon.

Which may be a problem in and of itself.

[eirenikos]

It might be, depending on what happens in the future. This is still the present, however, and Eirene would prefer to live here and now; which comes through in the way her lips eventually trail away from Clark's mouth along his jaw again.

Her hands may also drift up his back as well.

Clark tends to dwell on the future. And the past. But currently, the present is pretty nice, so he'll do his best to concentrate on that for the time being.

His eyes drift closed and his arms slide back around her waist, angling his head slightly to give her better access.

Small, warm hands eventually slide back around and up his chest to rest just underneath the jaw she applies more attention to, before drifting down against his throat (and moving a hand to his shoulder to do so).

It's very much a meandering sort of kiss, because she has all the time in the world to do so, and nothing else is clamouring for her attention like the young man in front of her.

Clark would deny he's clamouring. At least verbally, anyway. What he won't deny is that he's enjoying himself. And so far, not so much that he'll make an attempt to stop. Yet.

Since he obviously isn't uncomfortable, and doesn't look like he wants her to, well, stop, Eirene continues what she's doing: a slow, measured set of kisses down his throat and across to just below an ear before she begins to mouth toward the juncture where neck and shoulder meet.

There might even be an absent scrape of teeth against skin in the process.

And at that point, a soft moan will rumble in his throat, and his hands tighten around her waist.

Interesting. Eirene might just do it on purpose a second time to see if the result is similar, or just a coincidence.

[hero_farmboy]

Her waist will be squeezed again, but there's no moan, just a sharp intake of breath.

And then he exhales a moment later, "Eirene."

[eirenikos]

Not coincidence, then, and definitely to be filed away for a later date. Of course, the nipped area will be kissed before Eirene pulls away.

"Hmm?"

"Um," Clark's eyes remain closed, "I don't remember."

[eirenikos]

Eirene waits a few seconds to see if he's going to say anything else. Then, "Okay." And her mouth returns to the slow exploration of the areas she can get to without moving his shirt.

After a few minutes, he raises a hand to lift her chin, so he can capture her lips with his own again.

[eirenikos]

Eirene is so totally not going to complain about that, and she might even float a couple of inches higher so that he can get to her mouth a little easier.

Of course, this also means that she can toy with the hem of his shirt sneaky and ninja like while he's distracted.

Clark is, in fact, rather distracted. However, his hand slides into her hair, while the arm around her pulls her closer against him.

[eirenikos]

Again, no complaint, not that she could with her lips and tongue so invested in tangling with his, which is completely beside the point.

What isn't is her arms sliding up to wrap around his neck and pull him even closer - to her. Aggressive is occasionally a good thing.

Especially when one's hips are rocking gently against someone else's.

There's another quiet groan into her mouth this time, and Clark's hand starts travelling lower down her back. His lips may then start a trail of their own along her jaw.

[eirenikos]

A low, almost sharp inhale is his reward, Eirene's fingers pressing down against his shoulders for balance, and her head tilting back.

The quickened heartrate is just a bonus.

A very nice bonus, as it's thundering in Clark's ears at the moment, strong and steady. And as his mouth begins to trail down her throat, he can feel her pulse as well as hear it, warm under his lips.

[eirenikos]

This might be where she forgets the fact that she's levitating, and might sag against him when her knees, or her brain, gives out.

Her suddenly over-sensitive throat is all Clark's fault, as is the whimper that accompanies it.

His arm is still strong around her, so she can sag all she likes. He's got her.

As for the whimper, well, like her before him, he's going to try and see if he can't get her to do it again. Because it was kind of hot.
