It's sometime mid-morning when Eirene regains consciousness, staring blearily up at the ceiling and idly wondering what the heavy thing on top of her is for the three or four seconds until her brain starts clearing away the cobwebs and reveals that the object is, in fact, boyfriend-shaped. Which leads to lots and lots of blushing, and a soft, happy sigh at what they did the night before.

Hopefully not loud enough to wake him, seeing as how Clark appears to be still asleep.

And her boyfriend will greet her by grabbing her around the waist and spinning her around while Mel yips happily at their feet. when he's done, he'll plant her back on h er feet and then lean down for another kiss.

Eirene plans on remembering that moment for a long time, since it's relatively rare to see Clark so carefree. If he's like this during visits to her home, then the goddess plans to steal him on a regular basis; at least once every few months.

And then she steps back to catch Mel as the puppy flings herself into the human embrace too.

It's very rare, but they're alone on a beach in a world that's not his, so Clark feels like he can let go, just a little.

"Time for a group hug, I guess."

Deadpan: "It's always time for a group hug." Except for when it's not. >.>

"Maybe in this world," Clark quips and gives Mel's ears a scratch.

[eirenikos]

"Any world, boy scout." Mel wuffs her agreement, and twists around to try and lick Clark's face off.
