It's sometime mid-morning when Eirene regains consciousness, staring blearily up at the ceiling and idly wondering what the heavy thing on top of her is for the three or four seconds until her brain starts clearing away the cobwebs and reveals that the object is, in fact, boyfriend-shaped. Which leads to lots and lots of blushing, and a soft, happy sigh at what they did the night before.

Hopefully not loud enough to wake him, seeing as how Clark appears to be still asleep.

Half asleep, as sadly, sleeping in for Clark is 8am. But that doesn't mean he's ready to move - much - or get out of bed anytime soon. So he'll just tighten his arms around the tiny goddess and offer a happy sigh of his own, before nuzzling his nose against her hair.

Eirene is all in favor of not getting out of bed, aside from the bit about having to remove Clark from where he is to do so, and that really isn't going to happen anytime soon. There's a second sigh, mostly at the nuzzling, before she scoots closer against him and plants a kiss just below his collarbone.

"Morning."

"Hey," he mumbles sleepily in reply, smiling down at her and reaching up to brush her hair out of her face. "How are you?"

[eirenikos]

"Comfortable," she mumbles, turning away to stifle a yawn. "Happy." As evidenced by snuggling even closer and lifting her head just long enough to plant a kiss against his fingers.

[hero_farmboy]

His smile gets a little wider. "Me too." There will be no complaints about snuggling, as evidenced by him returning the action for a good few minutes.

Eventually, "We have to get up at some point, don't we."

[eirenikos]

"At some point." She likes this snuggling thing, though, and will have to be talked out of doing it for the rest of the day, possibly by bribery. After a few minutes, she shifts up to kiss his jaw. "Love you."

[hero_farmboy]

"I love you, too." The kiss is returned, and Clark shifts slightly, more on his side. Not that he's letting go of Eirene anytime soon.

[eirenikos]

She doesn't want to be let go of anytime soon, so that works out for both of them, and shifts with him in order to return the return kiss. Shush, it makes sense. Then she'll just nestle under his chin and let herself wake up a little more.

It makes plenty of sense to Clark and he's more than happy to be cuddled against until the morning fully hits them, a hand rubbing absently up and down her back.

[eirenikos]

It doesn't hit Eirene for a while yet, because she's warm and cozy and pressed up against an equally warm and cozy farmboy farmer, indulging every so often in a kiss to his throat or chest and a happy sigh to join her others.

Eventually, "What'd you wanna do today. Before everything starts?"

Right. Everything.

"This," Clark replies after a moment. "Is there anything we, or you actually, need to do?"

[eirenikos]

"Nope." Eirene sits up a little, braced against an elbow and eyes the clock. "Don't need to be at the stadium until five, so that gives us over six hours to ... not do anything at all."

She settles back against him a few moments later, fingertips idly tracing across his mouth.

Something she's said gets Clark's attention, so much so that he even attempts to half sit up.

"It's eleven?"

[eirenikos]

"Nine-thirty. Ish." Eirene looks up at him. "I said over six hours."

Beat.

"But if you want to get up now, we can."

[hero_farmboy]

"Oh. Okay." Nine-thirty ish isn't so bad, despite the farmer in him telling him that yes, yes it is and he's practically wasted the whole morning doing nothing. Clark chooses to rebut by pointing out that he's been cuddling, and cuddling isn't nothing.

The farmer in him seems to agree, and shuts up about it, as Clark settles back down beside her. "No, I'm good. We can be lazy."

[eirenikos]

Eirene takes the opportunity to drape herself halfway across him, with the excuse that she should be completely comfortable if they're going to lie there and do more cuddling. She traces her fingers across his chest after a minute, content to just be there next to him.

Then: "You make me happy."

[hero_farmboy]

He can't even feel the weight of her, so her says nothing, merely drapes an arm over her once she seems to have decided she's comfortable.

"I'm glad," softly. "You make me happy, too." Although he figures she should know that by the mere fact that he hasn't started freaking out yet.

[eirenikos]

The lack of freaking out is greatly appreciated, and possibly rewarded with a series of kisses down the curve of his jaw. Nothing seductive, just admiration for the taste of his skin.

When that's been taken care of, his ear might get nuzzled as well, since this is a lazy morning for doing nothing but lying in bed.

Clark seems to enjoy those kisses nonetheless, and tilts his head to help in her endeavours. And then there's a soft moan when she gets to his ear.

[eirenikos]

Eirene wants to hear another one of those moans, since it makes her melt inside, so she nuzzles Clark's ear again. Several times, slowly and with Great Purpose.

With an attempt not to squirm against his side overly much.

[hero_farmboy]

"Eirene..." Clark barely gets her entire name out, hardly a whisper. His eyes drift closed and the hand at her back stills. And the fact that they're both still naked is becoming increasingly apparent to him.

[eirenikos]

Curious and curiouser. Eirene reaches up after a second, brushing more hair away from his ear, and presses a kiss against the out shell.

Whispered: "You're perfect."

[hero_farmboy]

"You're biased," he manages to murmur back before placing a finger under her chin and lifting her head so he can kiss her properly.

[eirenikos]

"And your point is?" The goddess at his side asks politely after a minute or two, when her lips are no longer being put to better different use. One could say the same thing about her fingers, currently drifting from throat to chest and back.

[hero_farmboy]

It will take him a few minutes to reply to that. And then when he isn't preoccupied, he forgets what they were talking about. So he'll just smile at her again.

"Hi."
